This page explains how Nite Team collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Nite app and related services.

AI uploads are optional. If you choose to upload text or images for AI pet generation/customization, processing occurs on Nite Team’s own servers, is not shared with any third party, and the uploads are deleted promptly after processing.

1) Scope & eligibility (17+)

This Privacy Policy applies to the Nite mobile application and related services operated by Nite Team. Nite is intended for users aged 17 or older. If you are under 17, do not use the App.

2) Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) provided by you, (b) collected automatically, and (c) collected with your permission.

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Support content: messages and materials you send to customer support.
  • Optional AI/personalization content: text (prompts/messages) and images you choose to upload to generate or customize your virtual pet.
  • Automatic data: device information, usage statistics, crash logs, diagnostics, IP address.
  • Location (permission-based): precise or approximate location when you allow it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for login and preferences in web-based components; may include web beacons.

3) AI features & uploads

Nite includes AI-assisted features that may process text and/or images you choose to submit for generating or customizing your virtual pet.

  • Processing: performed on servers controlled by Nite Team.
  • No third-party sharing: uploaded text/images are not shared with any third party.
  • Deletion: uploads used for generation/customization are deleted promptly after processing.
  • Your control: you decide whether to upload or generate content.

If a photo includes a face, we do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification. Photos are used one-time for the requested generation and then deleted promptly. Generated results are stored locally on your device by default (unless you choose an available save feature). Photos are not used for training or marketing.

4) How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the Services (including login and core features).
  • Personalize the experience (including virtual pet customization and interactions).
  • Improve features (analytics, debugging, performance).
  • Protect safety and security, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

5) How we share information

We share information only when necessary and in the minimum amount required.

  • With your consent.
  • With service providers that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • For legal reasons (compliance, protection of rights, security).
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to safeguards.

For AI uploads used to generate/customize your pet, we do not share your uploaded text/images with any third party.

6) International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful mechanisms.

7) Security

We use safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and (where appropriate) at rest, access controls, regular reviews/audits, monitoring, and backups. No method is 100% secure, so please protect your account credentials.

8) Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active.
  • After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days (unless legally required otherwise).
  • Usage data/analytics and crash logs: up to 12 months.
  • Support content: up to 6 months after resolution.
  • AI uploads for one-time generation: deleted promptly after processing.

9) Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or withdraw consent for certain processing. To request these rights, email lehoquan745yu@outlook.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days where feasible.

You can also control some data collection through device settings (for example, location permissions).

10) Third-party services

The App may include integrations or links to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

11) Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and, where required, provide notice in the App or by other means.
